**** UPDATE FRIDAY MARCH 26 ***

RACE UPDATE

We really want this to be a downwind event. We have looked at the most recent weather modules coming through and it shows a good chance of wind for Sunday afternoon, so we are aiming for that.

DOWNWIND EVENT
Sunday 1pm @ Brownwater Event
All craft welcome SUP / OC / Foil
COURSE: Brownwater to Monavale
Meet at Brownwater at 1pm for a 2pm start.

There will be a trailer leaving monavale at 12:30 for anyone that can drop a car before hand. This trailer will not carry everyone, so please work together to shuttle together before or after event. Be sure to help out members looking for shuttle buddies even if you don't know them. Introduce yourself and make a friend. We need to work together to make this work!

Presentation and Social will be back at Brownwater immediately after the race.

If for some reason, the wind does not arrive as forecast, we have a fun tech course for all levels using makaha and whiterock loop. Sam, Jimmy and James have created a course that will work for all craft. The final decision on tech or dw will be made at 10:30 or 11 Sunday morning. Either way, meet at Brownwater at 1pm on Sunday. This time will not change

**** UPDATE THURSDAY MARCH 25****

We were hoping for a downwind, but the early forecast is not looking good, so we will fall back to a Technical Race. At this stage we are considering Long Reef Beach on Saturday morning. Exact location / date / time will be confirmed and announced on Friday.

SPSC Ocean event. This is our third club event in round 2 of the SPSC series.

SPSC is progressing as the sport grows. It's been decided to welcome our SUP Foilers and Wing Foilers and OC1 to Saturdays Ocean Series with their own categories!

The event has a 2 day winow, depending on conditions. If its windy, it will be a downwind event. Tech comp will be a backup.

Location, time and date will be announced Thursday night or Friday morning. This page will be updated as event details are released and all registered particpants will be notified, so register early!

Participants must be SPSC Members. If downwind ALL participants must wear PFD and leash. If tech comp, all participants must wear leash.

Membership is $90 for the full season (Sept-August), then FREE entry for members to all SPSC Events.

$60 for day membership and entry

Preregistration required.
