**** RACE UPDATE 3 DECEMBER ******
Here is the way Sunday will work:
7.30 – Race 1 to start a bit further up the lake behind the orange buoy so everyone can spread out. Head up there following the briefing and do any warming up behind the buoy please so we can start on time.
8.15 (approx) – Race 2 starts down at boat ramp. Reverse order pursuit. Last in the first race goes first with 10 second gaps according to Race 2 order. Based on 24 racers, the back marker will give the “rabbit” a 4 minute start over the 4km course. Everyone is going to be very bunched coming in so call out your number to Campbell and remember where you placed in case we have to check.
Results – Lowest accumulated placing wins with countback on first race. Benny Wicks will be working all this out and will post on FB.
9AM (approx) – Raffle to be drawn.
Lastly – have fun and an open mind. This is a bit of an experimental race designed to give everyone a bit of bunch racing experience. And be nice to each other going under the bridge

******************** JPP CHARITY RAFFLE DETAILS ***********************
Most everyone is aware of the fire at Jamieson Park Paddle that happened yesterday. JPP Is an SPSC Sponsor and is very special to our club. As we all know these past few years have been difficult for all small businesses, and we are all extremely saddened by what has occurred. So SPSC is coming together with a JPP Fundraiser to help Sam and the JPP family to get through this difficult time.
In conjunction with this SPSC club race we are going to have a raffle with 100% of proceeds going to JPP. SPSC will cover all credit card fees associated with online ticket purchases and all prizes have been donated.
