President
Florian Rouyer

  • Principal leader with overall responsibility for the club’s administration.
  • Set the overall annual committee agenda
  • Facilitate committee, executive and annual general meetings
  • Helps the committee prioritise its goals and keep the committee on track
  • Ensure planning and budgeting is in accordance with the wishes of the members.
  • Ensure all rules and regulations of the club are upheld.
  • Encourage sponsors and supporters providing them with value for their investment financial, social and structural viability of the club.
  • Identify and communicate to members the threats, challenges and opportunities available to the club.
  • Be responsible for planning, including succession.
  • Maintain register of sponsor’s details
  • At the operational level, the major function of the President is to facilitate effective committee meetings, and coordinate committee in regards to ongoing events.
 

Treasurer
Joshua Chant

  • Prepare a budget 
  • Maintain the club’s accounting records including detailed records of all payments and monies received 
  • Facilitate an annual returns, presenting the details to members at the Annual General Meeting. 
  • Produce relevant and timely financial reports and submit these to each management committee meeting as required and ensure they are understood. 
  • Ensure planning and budgeting is in accordance with the wishes of the members. 
  • Send out accounts 
  • Payment of accounts 
  • Ensure financial, social and structural viability of the Club 
  • Look after insurance paperwork and payments 
  • Maintain register of Club’s Motorised equipment, Boats and Trailer Registrations, etc. 
  • Assist to co-ordinate sponsorship activities
 

Racing Directors
Mike Hayes & Bret Baber

  • Work with the racing/training committee and delegate tasks to committee members and volunteers as needed
  • Develop season points score series
  • Calculate pointscore at the end of each series event
  • Select and organise Tech Comps dates
  • Responsible for any race result protest. Collect data, communicate with the organiser of the race, discuss with racing committee for final decision to be submitted back to the race organizer to post in final results.
  • Organise club racing events and activities
  • Work with treasurer to negotiate funding and support for this program 
  • Work with other committees to determine end of year winners
 

Public Officer
Joshua Chant

  • Official point of contact point for association
  • Must not be vacant more than 28 days
